Like any commercial entity Empower Foods reserves the right to monitor posts that may effect our core business. As Australia's first manufacturer to focus purely on low carb foods, we rely on the sales of our products and the support of our customers to continue developing and bringing out new low carb products. Obviously we must protect our existing products so we can continue to expand this range.

Inappropriate use of the forum as a platform to promote another business or company will not be tolerated.

Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.

All submitted or posted information is the opinion or suggestion of the poster and therefore is not necessarily that of Empower Foods. We do not claim to be health experts or doctors, and the source of any information of this nature found on this site does not claim Empower Foods as it's source.

Empower Foods is not responsible for any consequences incurred by anyone following directions or instructions found on this site. We encourage you to consult your doctor if you have any questions or concerns of a medical nature.

Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.

Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.

If you are posting a recipe or an article that is from another website, please be kind enough to quote the source. It's just a common courtesy to the author/s.

Members are asked to not act as "back seat administrators". If members note an issue they are welcome to bring it to the attention of the administrator (info@empowerfoods.com.au). Members who consistently "act" as administrators may be warned.

Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.

Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of inappropriate titles include; "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", "I've got an error!", etc. Examples of good titles include; "OMG, busy weekend coming up!", "Query about carbs in pumpkin", etc.

Empower Foods does not and will not tolerate any discrimination on the basis of sex, race, gender, age, sexual orientation or physical appearance on these pages. Any violations will be dealt with swiftly.

The administrator reserves the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as inappropriate, indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to the administrator and not users.

Users who persistently ask questions without showing any desire to help themselves should expect to receive at best a delayed response and at worst no response at all.

When posting a support question bumping is permitted only after six hours have elapsed since the last post to that topic. Users who abuse this will be warned.

Empower Foods operates a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences. If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place for 2 months.

Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as above.

Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the administrator.

Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username and registering a new email account. Circumvention also includes posting as an anonymous user.

An exception to the three strike rule applies when users post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them.
