Beef Stroganoff

Serves 4

Per serve:



  1. In a non stick frying pan melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic.
  2. Brown on low heat and cook until onion is caramelized. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. In same pan add 1 tablespoon of butter and meat strips. Add pepper and salt to taste.
  4. Cook until well browned, then add stock cube and cup water.
  5. Continue cooking until all moisture has gone and beef is coated nicely.
  6. Turn heat to low and add sour cream and mustard.
  7. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic. Stir well and heat through without boiling.
